Shri JP Nadda addresses the ‘Saradhyam Public Meeting’ in Visakhapatnam

In a significant political development for Andhra Pradesh, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President and Union Minister Shri JP Nadda Today (14 Sep 25) addressed a Huge gathering of Enthusiasts in the grand finale of the party’s ‘Saradhyam’ public meeting at the Railway Grounds in Visakhapatnam. This event marks the culmination of the BJP’s statewide ‘Saradhyam Yatra,’ a series of outreach programs aimed at connecting with the masses, highlighting the achievements of the NDA government, and critiquing the opposition’s governance failures. Nadda’s participation as the chief guest underscores the BJP’s strategic push to consolidate its presence in the southern state, especially after the formation of the NDA alliance government led by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.

The ‘Saradhyam Yatra,’ launched in Kadapa earlier this year, has traversed Andhra Pradesh, drawing large crowds and emphasizing themes like development, self-reliance, and cultural unity under the ‘Viksit Bharat’ vision. BJP State President P.V.N. Madhav, who has been leading the yatra, announced the Visakhapatnam meeting during a press conference on September 13, stating that it would be the “final and most impactful” gathering. Madhav highlighted the yatra’s success in mobilizing support across the state, with events in various districts focusing on local issues like employment, infrastructure, and the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP). He urged party workers to ensure massive turnout, predicting it would send a strong message to the opposition YSR Congress Party (YSRCP).

Elaborate preparations are underway at the Railway New Colony Grounds, the venue for the meeting, with the city streets, including Beach Road, adorned with BJP flags, banners, and flexes welcoming Nadda. Senior leaders such as Health Minister Y. Satya Kumar, Visakhapatnam North MLA P. Vishnu Kumar Raju, former MP G.V.L. Narasimha Rao, and other state functionaries reviewed the arrangements on September 13. Security measures have been heightened, with traffic diversions planned, and the event drew thousands of supporters from coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema regions.
