Released on September 5, 2025, Baaghi 4 marks the fourth installment in the popular Bollywood action franchise, directed by A Harsha and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. Starring Tiger Shroff as Ronny, alongside Sanjay Dutt, Harnaaz Sandhu, and Sonam Bajwa, the film attempts to escalate the series’ signature high-octane stunts but stumbles with a disjointed narrative.
The plot follows Ronny, a naval officer haunted by hallucinations of his lost love Alisha (Harnaaz) after a near-fatal accident. As he battles grief and a menacing villain (Sanjay Dutt), reality blurs, leading to a predictable yet convoluted twist. Tiger Shroff delivers his usual acrobatic flair, excelling in bone-crunching fight sequences choreographed with flair, reminiscent of Animal. His emotional range, however, remains limited, while Harnaaz adds freshness despite a thin character arc. Sanjay Dutt’s menacing presence as the antagonist is a highlight, though underutilized.
Technically, the film impresses with Swamy Gowda’s vibrant cinematography and a pulsating background score by Agaaz and Tanishk Bagchi. The action set pieces, though excessive, are visually striking. However, the screenplay falters with a sluggish first half and a rushed climax, failing to justify its near-three-hour runtime. The songs, including “Marjaana,” are catchy but disrupt the flow.
Baaghi 4 caters to action lovers with its relentless stunts and mass appeal, earning it a 2/5 rating. Yet, its weak story and repetitive tropes disappoint, making it a rollercoaster ride that loses steam. Fans of the franchise may enjoy it, but others might find it an exhausting spectacle.
