Telangana CM Urges Licensed Surveyors to Resolve Farmers’ Land Issues and Drive State’s Economic Vision

Telangana Chief Minister Shri Revanth Anumula emphasized the critical role of licensed surveyors in resolving farmers’ land-related issues and contributing to the state’s ambitious economic goals. Speaking at a license distribution ceremony for trained surveyors at Shilpakala Vedika in Hyderabad, the CM called on surveyors to become key partners in Telangana’s reconstruction and development. The event, attended by Minister Shri Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, marked the formal induction of newly trained surveyors into the state’s efforts to streamline land revenue systems.

Addressing the gathering, the CM urged surveyors to uphold integrity and dedication in their work, stating, “Farmers are the backbone of Telangana, and supporting them is paramount. Any injustice to a farmer is akin to injustice to our own families. Your honest efforts will enhance Telangana’s reputation and ensure justice for every farmer.” He emphasized that surveyors have been entrusted with the responsibility of resolving long-standing land disputes in villages and tribal hamlets, ensuring no farmer faces unresolved issues.

The CM highlighted that Telangana has 1.6 crore acres of agricultural land under ownership, yet issues like boundary disputes persist despite 140 years of various land laws. “Your role is to protect farmers’ land boundaries with the same care you would show for your own family’s property. No farmer should suffer due to unresolved land issues,” he said, underscoring the appointment of surveyors to address these challenges effectively.

Aligning their role with the state’s broader vision, the CM called on surveyors to contribute to Telangana Rising 2047, a roadmap to transform Telangana into a $1 trillion economy by 2034 and a $3 trillion economic powerhouse by 2047. “You are stakeholders in this vision. Your work in safeguarding farmers’ rights and resolving land disputes will lay the foundation for a developed Telangana, leading the nation in progress,” he said.

The Chief Minister reiterated the government’s commitment to farmers’ welfare and rural development, urging surveyors to approach their duties with diligence and empathy. By ensuring accurate land records and resolving disputes, surveyors will play a pivotal role in strengthening Telangana’s agricultural backbone and supporting the state’s journey toward economic and social prosperity.
