Visakhapatnam, – Andhra Pradesh Minister for IT, Electronics, and Education Nara Lokesh recently conducted a high-profile roadshow at the Taj Palace Hotel in Mumbai, engaging with leading investors from across the country to promote the upcoming CII Partnership Summit, scheduled for November 14-15, 2025, in Visakhapatnam. The minister urged participants to contribute to the success of this prestigious event, positioning it as a key platform to showcase the state’s investment potential on a global stage.
During the interaction, Lokesh attributed the state’s ability to attract significant global investments to the visionary leadership of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. He highlighted how Naidu’s strategic governance has paved the way for Andhra Pradesh to draw international capital. As a prime example, he cited the ArcelorMittal steel plant, a testament to the state’s rapid “Speed of Doing Business,” with the project’s first-phase works set to commence in November 2025. Additionally, Lokesh announced a landmark development, revealing that an agreement will be signed on October 14, 2025, to establish a one-gigawatt Google data center, further solidifying the state’s emergence as a tech hub.
Addressing the investors, Lokesh extended a warm invitation, emphasizing Andhra Pradesh’s investor-friendly environment, equipped with all necessary facilities and incentives. “I encourage you to invest in our state, which offers unmatched advantages, and rest assured, we are fully prepared to provide comprehensive support and assistance to ensure your success,” he assured.
